Trash masters' International has announced the recipients of their scholarships for 2000 - Christian Mosiman, of Aspen who will be attending CU at Boulder: Katie Heng, of Basalt, attending Colorado State: J.W. Gustine of Carbondale, attend- ing Mesa State College and Shena Arellano of Rifle, attending Denver University.
"We have expanded the pro-gram to include Basalt, (i'arbondale and Rifle High Schools and we will award $50.000 this spring," said 1 rashmasters' founder and chairman, Boone Schweit7er. "There are now 12 students in the program attending colleges and universities all across the nation. Indeed, we have come a long way in the past seven years."

attracts people from all over the planet in pursuit of the cov-eted "blue jacket." This year's event will be held on Aug. 10-II at the Snowmass Club and is always a quick sell-out.
"This is perhaps the most fun filled golf tournament in the country." said event coordina-tor Marnie Mosiman, who recently graduated with honors at CU at Boulder. "The enthusi-asm for this tournament is truly incredible ... It has emerged a a major league fundraiser in the Roaring Fork Valley. Everyone has so much fun at the Trash in asters."
And regarding this year's recipients, scholarship commit-tee chairman David .1. Slaybaugh said, "They are all quite outstanding young men and women who need financial aid to further their education. We are proud to he able to help them."
