The World's Most Unique Golf Tournament

The Trashmasters Annual Volunteer's Appreciation Dinner

The Legendary Trashmasters honored a few of their own recently at The Annual Volunteer's Appreciation Dinner at il Poggio Restaurant.

This year's recipient of the "Booze Brothers" Best Bartender Award went to James "J.P." Powell of Snowmass Village. "J.P. has been serving the Trashmasters for 10 years; and, has emerged as an outstanding mixologist. He knows most of our patrons on a first name basis. Our legendary parties would not be the same without him" said Trustee, Jeffrey Sivess.

The "M.V.T." (Most Valuable Trashmaster) Award went to longtime Vice Chairman, Carol Dresser. "Carol has been instrumental in the growth of this event over the years; and, we will miss her very much. Carol is retiring from the position to focus on her family and her endeavors as Vice President of Alpine Bank Snowmass" according to her replacement, Matthew Tate.

Recognized as The World's Most Unique Golf Tournament, The Trashmasters benefits The Roaring Fork Valley Scholarship Fund which offers four year college scholarships to graduating seniors from Aspen to Glenwood Springs. To date 21 students have graduated from colleges across the country while there are currently 20 students in the program.
